Our story began after retirement in December of 2006 when we went north to Wisconsin for Christmas to visit relatives.  We saw an Airstream 31' travel trailer for sale and bought it.  Pulled it back to Mississippi with a 1998 ¾ ton 4 wheel drive Suburban in the snow. We heard a lot of noises.  In May we headed for Alaska and heard more noises during the 11 week trip.  More trips more noises.  We upgraded the tow vehicle to a new 08' Ram 3500 Mega cab, dually 4 wheel drive and a 34' Airstream, 3 axle.  It weighs 11,000 lbs.  I tried the U-bolt clamps, less noise still 'clunking' on start and stop, and it created a groove in the draw bar as it loosened and wore.  We made 2-3 5,000 mile trips a year for 10 years with the noise.  In 2012 we moved from MS. to WI.

In November of 2017, I was helping brother-in-law set up a manufacturing process in Alabama.  While I was programming and operating a CNC router I had a brain fart.  Using a CNC plasma router we made some parts and installed them for trip back home to Wisconsin.

I believed my ideas would work, so I completed 2 patent applications.  In early 2019 both were awarded and issued.  We started our LLC in WI.  I made several prototypes of both and proceeded to test while traveling across the country.  No noises initially, but after days on the road some came back.  Due to wear some looseness came back, so I tightened bolts and went on.  We moved to Texas in 2020 and shut down the WI LLC.  I almost gave up, but then I had another idea to improve the prototype and found a company in Austin that I had worked with in1987. I bought 10 prototypes and now we've started a Texas company: PlayStop LLC. Our first product is the NoPlayWedge kit.
